Automatic Detection and Tracking of Google Ads Conversions

Improvement
Tag Manager can now automatically detect if a given Google tag ID number belongs to Google Ads. Upon detection, the system will auto-initiate the sending of Google Ad conversion events. No additional coding is required.

Impact on Current Processes:

  • Users can now choose between two methods for tracking Google Ads conversions:
    1. Continue using the conversion events generated by importing Google Analytics purchase events into Google Ads.
    2. Leverage the new functionality and directly use Google Ads tracking for conversions.
